When I am feeling blue. And neglected by family and friends. Like now. A little ditty my Mother used to say pops into my head. I only know part of it....
Nobody loves me. Everybody hates me. Sittin' in the garden eating worms.
Big fat juicy ones. Little skinny scrawny ones.
See how they wiggle and they squirm!
I'm having another Pity Party and that's what is on the menu du jour.
Does anyone know the rest of this ditty? Okay, has anyone ever heard this before?

I hope I'm not one of those that you feel neglected by :) The song I know goes...
Nobody likes me, everybody hates me, guess I'll go eat worms. Big fat juicy ones, tiny little squiggly ones, watch them wiggle and squirm. BITE their heads off, SUCK their guts out, THROW their skins away. I don't see how birds can live on worms 3 times a day!
Thank you! Thank you very much!
Why so blue, panda bear?
OMG, this is hilarious. When I get a little depressed, I can just look dejected and say, "Worms," to my husband, and he knows that I mean your little ditty. (This usually earns me a, "Ah, baby!" and a hug. Which is why I do it, of course.) Ah, the joys of being married a long, long effing time... to someone who knew you when you were technically still a child.
Hope you are all better now. :-)
Only Daughter: My version is older than yours so I'll stick with that one. Besides, your version is GROSS. Okay, so is mine when you think about it but yours is grosser.
Other Daughter: Two peas in a pod. Always and forever!
Jaek: I don't know. Maybe the cold your Little People probably gave me?
Tammara: Maybe that's what I need. An "Ah baby" and a hug. Not from your husband, but from mine!
Hope you'll feel better and never heard of that song (thanl God for little favours!) before! As I read it I wasn't thinking of worms but of those nasty tomatoes worms you posted about a little while back! Yuck!
Stinkypaw: I'll feel better when this cold goes AWAY. Yeah, the tomato worms would be the "big, fat juicy ones!".
Monkey: Hi to you! Which version did you hear? On TV? What kind of show?
